About Us
Our practice was built on the foundation that veterinary medicine is, first and foremost, a service profession, one where our clients and their pets are at the heart of everything we do. Dr. Saunders proudly served this community with compassion and dedication since graduating from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982, and he cared for generations of pets from our current location since 1997. Now retired, Dr. Saunders has passed the torch to Dr. DeGroat, who shares the same commitment to practicing high-quality medicine with a client-focused approach. Under her leadership, we remain deeply rooted in our mission to provide exceptional care and personal service to every patient and family we serve.
